Both Shelley and Frank are college professors, and Shelley also
has a private counseling practice at their winter home in Raleigh,
NC. They
have recently acquired co-ownership of a therapeutic modality known
as the
MARI®, (the Mandala Assessment Research Instrument) and have spent
a large part of the past year developing
Mari Creative Resources, Inc.
as well as continuing to be owners and proprietors of the Angel House.
Frank
is currently immersed in researching threads of evolutionary biology
in the works of Carl Jung, and Shelley has been traveling extensively
to train new practitioners in the MARI. The Takei's are, and
always have been, a hard-working and fun-loving team, and there is
rarely a dull moment between them...just ask their children and grandchildren
about that ! Frank
is Shelley's "go-to-guy", and she never fails to keep his
life "interesting"! They look forward to another
season of fascinating people here at "the Dale", and hope
to play and frolic at least once in a while! Why should the
angels and faeries have all the fun?!
